The exhibition Roundabout premiered at the City Gallery Wellington in New Zealand in 2010, with more than 100 objects representing over 80 of the 108 artists represented within Roundabout. In late 2011, Roundabout landed in Israel for its second installment.
Roundabout: Face to Face took place between October 22, 2011, and April 14, 2012, at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, where a carefully curated selection of works was shown focusing on the strength that portraiture plays within the collection. Committed to facilitating creative dialogue and exchange between artists and cultures, Roundabout continued its mission and upheld its ethos. In Roundabout: Face to Face, an emphasis was placed on portraits expressing different voices regarding religion, ethnicity, and gender, thus setting the viewer off on a dialogue, a journey discovering the other within the self.
