Lonnie Hutchinson is the artist commissioned for the highly visible Lake Domain site on the corner of Ruakiwi Road and Pembroke Street. "Te Waharoa ki te Ao Maarama – The Entranceway to the World of Enlightment" was unveiled and gifted to the city of Hamilton on 8 April 2013.
